Falcon Structural Repairs Limited were appointed as a specialist sub contractor appointed by Nimbus Conservation Limited (Frome) who are the Main Contractor working on behalf of Bristol City Council to repair the tower prior to it being re-opened in the summer of 2011.

New research by home insurer LV= has revealed that in the last few years 1.35 million UK homeowners have carried out structural repairs to their homes such as removing walls and tackling subsidence.

Falcon has recently completed a project involving the underpinning of six properties in Somerset where failure of the original piled foundations had caused significant movement cracking. The work involved removal of all internal fixtures and fittings including kitchens and staircases breaking out the existing suspended beam and block flooring system.

Falcon Structural have appointed a new Health & Safety Training Officer, Will Venter. Will's initial brief is to ensure rigourous application of Falcon's existing Health & Safety system. 

Minerva Conservation Ltd, based in Bath, instructed Falcon to supply and install Cintec Anchors to stabilise the outward movement on the Red House, in Rococo Gardens, Gloucester.

The Museum of Somerset project is being led by Somerset County Council’s Heritage Service to conserve and restore Taunton Castle and to rejuvenate the Somerset County Museum located within it. The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has confirmed £4.8m funding for the project and a further £1.7m must be raised through grants and public fundraising.

Falcon is currently involved on a couple of sites in Somerset where they have been employed by Persimmon Homes, South West.

This month Falcon is taking concrete repairs to a whole new level at the Winfrith Technology Centre in Dorset.

Historical records first show the existence of the Hermitage Dock complex as far back as 1658. The Hermitage basin was finally constructed in 1821, and was used daily by dozens of small ships and lighters bringing goods into and taking them out of London.
